Tribute to Martyrs of Pakistan: Defence Day planning

The Administration of Faisalabad has plan to pay rich tribute to martyrs of Pakistan on Defence Day. Nation will observe Defence Day on September 6 throughout the Pakistan. Administration is planning for Various programs on the day in the four districts of the Faisalabad division. All are to express love, solidarity with families of martyrs of Pakistan, Army, Rangers, Police and civilians. Giving details, Divisional Commissioner Asif Iqbal told that main ceremonies tribute to martyrs held at District Headquarters level. We will invite families of martyrs to commemorate sacrifices of the martyrs and pay tribute to martyrs. He informed that we arrange Quran khawani for the soul of the martyrs and will laid floral wreaths on the monuments of Shuhda.

NATION TO PAY TRIBUTE TO MARTYRS, THEIR FAMILIES ON DEFENCE DAY

Asif Iqbal Said that, we are arranging declamation contests in the educational institutions in this regard. We are also planning for seminars and sports events to pay tributes to the martyrs. Furthermore, Nation will decorate roads, intersections and other public places with banners/steamers pertaining the pictures of martyrs. We are also celebrating the day under the theme of “Hamain Payar Ha Pakistan Se”, he added. The Commissioner directed the district administrations of the four districts to follow the comprehensive plan to observe the Defence Day with new zeal and enthusiasm. He said that we had pride over the martyrs of Pakistan who laid down their lives while serving the country and nation. Asif said that we will not leave the families of the martyrs alone and will raise their honour and dignity.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Ahmad Fawad hold a meeting with officers of concerned departments to review arrangements of Defence Day. Officers informed DC that the Defence Day ceremonies will start from September 3 and we will decorate city with the photographs of the martyrs. Not only martyrs of Pak Army, Rangers, Police but also civilian people who gave their lives in different terrorist activities. Moreover, He informed that the similar programs would be held at Tehsil level to pay rich tributes to the martyrs on Defence Day. The Deputy Commissioner said that the community is also being motivated for the participation in Defence Day ceremonies.
